Who doesn’t love a designer collab? I certainly do! As a self-proclaimed Target Designer Collection connoisseur, I was thrilled when Target announced their latest collaboration with Sergio Hudson, Kika Vargas and La ligne, three of today’s hottest designers in fashion. I found myself feeling overjoyed by how affordable, colorful and trendy the collection looked while previewing it online and a bit disappointed by the sheerness and quality of some of the pieces while viewing it in person. Nonetheless, here are some of my favorite pieces from Target’s Designer Collection that you definitely won’t want to miss.
What To Expect
From vibrant colors and bold patterns to ultra feminine silhouettes and statement accessories, this collection has it all. I was able to purchase some eye catching outwear, Fall essentials, and statement accessories to update my wardrobe with for Fall. As usual, Target makes me and my wallet the happiest of campers with their affordable and stylish offerings.
Why Each Piece Was a Must-Have For Me?
All the pieces that I purchased were must-haves for my closet because they help with cold weather proofing my closet, while also allowing me to create, quick effortlessly chic outfits to wear to work, brunch or any Holiday gatherings.The Purple Tailored Long Overcoat for example, not only showcases Serigo Hudson’s immaculate tailoring, but also pairs nicely with any Fall outfit. I also added the ultra soft Houndstooth Coat because it is incredibly stylish , yet practical for cold moments. Even though I found the Houndstooth Dress and Purple Dress to be a bit bit basic, I loved that they can be dressed up or down and occasion. The shoulder pads also add a bit of drama which makes them an elevated wardrobe staple. Trust me when I say that the Black Tiered Midi Dress and Gold Puff Sleeve Dress will be your go-to pieces for Holiday parties or any gathering which dress code requires a bit of razzle-dazzle. Additionally, I had to grab the Teal Satin Bodysuit and Teal High-Waist Wide Leg Tailored Trousers because practice pieces are always a good idea and can we talk about how gorgeous the color is? Lastly, accessories are paramount to any “must-have fashion list” because of how easily they can make any outfit look absolutely chic. With that being said, I grabbed a pair of Octagon Sunglasses, Leather Gloves, and a Houndstooth Beret for this edition of Target’s Fall Designer Collection.
Where Do We Go From Here?
I love shopping the Designer Collections from Target because it allows for accessibility to the designs of renown designers at an affordable price point, while also introducing me to new designer. I’m excited to rock the pieces purchased from this collection and reworking them what I already own to create new outfits.
